NBA refreshes the participants with a short-term concentrated course that provides an introduction to communication satellite technologies, services, orbital mechanics to satellite design and launch, configuration and installation of earth stations, implementation of communications links, set-up of satellite network and understanding the capabilities and the limitations of current satellites.

Entertainment and media industry is gaining importance & projected to grow by over 15% in the next 5 years. Channel proliferation within television industry has made CATV and DTH a highly challenging and competitive business. This requires quality improvements, technology up gradation and skilled human resources. NBA Group of Institutions has come to fruition to meet these needs. India has 800 million telecom subscribers, 150 million TV subscribers, 100 plus million internet subscribers. It is expected by 2020 more than 100 million TV Homes will have broadband connections, more than 5 million smart devices, over more than 2000 TV Channels.

Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Broadcast Technology

The Broadcast Industry is one of modern India's most dynamic, empowered and profitable industries. Experts have projected that India's Broadcast industry will grow at the rate of 15% per annum over the next five years. In addition to the current 920 million telecom subscribers, 160 million TV subscribers and 250 plus million internet subscribers, it is expected that by the year 2020, over 100 million Homes will have broadband connections; there will be more than 5 million smart devices and over 2000 TV Channels. Broadcast is here to stay. Therefore, personnel who are experts in Broadcast Technology are highly sought after. Keeping this need for trained broadcast technology professionals in mind, NBA Group of Institutions has launched NBA School of Technology.


NBA School of Technology trains tomorrow's leaders in Broadcast Technology. Given the high growth in Broadcast and the diverse technological advancements in the Industry, our carefully crafted course is a combination of theoretical training and months of hands-on practical training in a live environment. To bring this unique course to students, NBA has tied up with three sister-concern companies: NOIDA Software Technology Park Ltd. (NSTPL), JAINHITS & Jain TV Group.


Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Broadcast Technology:

Duration: 6 month.

Eligibility: A candidate applying for the Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Broadcast Technology must hold an Engineering degree (Electronics/ Electrical/ Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Information Technology) and/or be a nominee of a Broadcasting company.

Admission Procedure: Candidates are required to appear for a Personal Interview.

Course Objective: To train the students theoretically and practically to become efficient and effective Broadcastor.

Course Outcome: A graduate with a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Technology from NBA School of Technology will be capable of designing, installing, managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of a media/broadcast organization. Students will learn end-to-end signal flow, operational aspects of broadcast technology, working principles and about quality parameters. The curriculum is designed as per the current Broadcast Industry standards. Hands-on training and practical exposure are well-integrated into the curriculum. Upon graduation, students will be able to seek employment under various sub-domains of the ever growing broadcast and media industry.
